TabTrade - What It Is
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
The full review, covering regulation, withdrawals, tabtrade pricing, and website the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
