TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
